This month in style: June's 4 essential styles

Words— Frank And Oak staff

Organic cotton-blend tees that keep it green, vibrant floral patterns to carry you through the golden days of summer, clean and casual chino shorts we plan on wearing until the weather forces us to wear pants; plus our And* Collection makes a comeback to celebrate Pride Month. Here’s our edit of what’s new for men and women in the month of June.

1. Eco-friendly tees

Just when you thought our t-shirts couldn’t get better – we’ve gone eco.

For men: Organic cotton + recycled polyester

A heavy sun-bleached wash in an array of seasonal colours meets fine organic cotton and recycled polyester. Organic cotton production prelenishes and maintains soil fertility without the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers. Recycled PET fibres are strong and soft and reduces the amount of plastic in landfills and causes far less air pollution than making new PET. For us, this is all an easy choice.

More colours coming soon

For women: Organic cotton + sustainable TENCEL™

Loose and breezy – these relaxed summer tees and tanks are made from a heavenly blend of organic cotton and sustainable TENCEL™. They drape nicely in all the right places, and with a nice variety of shades, we can’t think of a pair of jean-shorts they won’t team well with.

2. Golden prints

These vibrant floral designs are a ray of sunshine on a hot summer day.

3. Chino shorts

Up here in Canada we take shorts pretty seriously. While we don’t get to wear them for long, when we do, we make the most of it. Here are the shin-revealing cotton shorts we’re into this summer.

4. New "And" collection

Our latest "And" collection returns June 12th

What if instead of saying “or”, we say And. The latest addition to our continuing "And" collection is in support of Pride Month. We stand with the LGBTQ community in Canada and around the world.

Each cotton/poly t-shirt is made locally in Montreal with the help of Petites-Mains, an organization that helps women break out of social isolation, develop trade expertise and value in the workforce.

In partnership with Montréal Pride

We're proud to donate $5 of each purchase to Montréal Pride, an organization that supports and promotes local communities while serving as a beacon of hope for people around the world who continue to battle injustice.
