What to wear this November

Words— Frank And Oak staff

November — it’s definitely not winter yet, but it’s starting to feel like it. Our latest collection features creative takes on old cold-weather standbys, including styles ideal for those upcoming holiday parties. Feast your eyes on four fall looks to get you noticed (and ready for the cold) — all styled with our latest arrivals

Stay gold

We've already espoused the virtues of Gen-Z yellow, but the trend continues into the fall (and doesn't appear to be going anywhere). Not too bright, not too dark or dull — we've come up with the ideal yellow this season. Wear it over everything from fall florals to a black sweaters.

Up the contrast

Black and white. It's so easy isn't it? Both confident and classic, black and white combinations are low-key enough (yet chic enough) to work for any event on your busy calendar this season from holiday parties to the workweek to date nights.

Dark florals

Florals, for fall? Absolutely. For a winter-ready take on classic florals, give dark and moody prints a try (here you'll see them paired against dark palettes and intricate jacquard fabrics). It's not what you expect from florals and gives an added bit of intrigue and drama to your fit.

Red the right way

A statement maker for sure, red is the bold and bright colour of the season and we've really gone for it with this half-zip mockneck sweater. Paired with a bright jacquard mini-skirt the red will pop even more.

Not ready for this much colour? Small accents like a red toque, some mitts, or a scarf will help you brighten up this dreary season a touch.
